Last week Dr Dhan Thiruchelvam trialled new technology from Optimed Technologies. The glasses allow surgeons or other health professionals to live stream a video of operation and take pictures which then can be communicate directly to a “remote expert” and/or other participants who are able to see through the eyes of the surgeon from anywhere in the world.
