Recently underwent a procedure with Dr Thiruchelvam and would like express my and wife’s appreciation for how we were dealt with and how the procedure went. From the ladies at the front office, Briony, Rebekah and Tash through obviously the good doctor himself but also the whole procedure at the hospital itself, from the check-in nursing staff through the operating theatre staff, the recovery staff and finally the ward staff. Everyone, without exception was excellent. We did not encounter a single problem throughout the entire process. Everyone was very kind and considerate. Everyone knew their job and did it with the least fuss. We were given clear instructions and explanations about what was happening before, during and afterwards. We could not fault any part of it. The follow up by the staff at the doctors office has been excellent especially Briony who is very considerate and knowledgeable. Lastly the good doctor himself, short and to the point which I like. It’s not a situation for small talk. He explained exactly what we were going to do. My wife and I researched the procedure comprehensively and although not what would be considered a life threatening procedure it was complex nonetheless and he just carried it out with seeming ease and with a minimum of commentary afterwards. We consider ourselves to be very fortunate to have access to someone with the knowledge, skill and courage to do this work and do it well. We would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Thiruchelvam and his team to anyone considering having work done.
