Dr Dhan and his team make everything run flawlessly. From the first visit I was pleasantly surprised by the schedule of a thorough pre- surgical check, via gastroscopy and in depth blood tests to make sure everything was as it should be to allow my surgery to go ahead. My actual surgery and overnight stay at Newcastle Private was a great experience also, as all staff looking after me were attentive all through the night and I felt well looked after.
Leaving the hospital, I had no pain whatsoever, I did have a little nausea which is to be expected under the circumstances, but within a day or two that was completely under control to the point I didn’t have anything more. I am now three weeks post surgery in my weight loss journey, I have lost 10kgs, I have now started to eat soft foods in very small quantities that will build up over time, and I feel happy and ready to lose a further 20kgs to reach my personal goal.
